Doctors reattached the colon of Cleveland Indian Manager Charlie Manuel during three hours of surgery Friday and expect him to make a full recovery.

Manuel, 56, is expected to be hospitalized for a week and probably will not be able to rejoin the struggling Indians for at least two weeks. Manuel had eight inches of his colon removed during emergency surgery in February.
