Man Arrested in Older Brother’s Slaying
A man was being held Sunday in the shooting death of his older brother, authorities said.
Kenneth Marshall, 49, was booked on suspicion of murder and is being held at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster station in lieu of $1-million bail, said Deputy Rick Martinez, a department spokesman.
His 54-year-old brother, Robert, was shot once in the upper body Saturday about 7:30 p.m. at the home they shared on 164th Street East, Martinez said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the deputy said.
Homicide detectives are investigating possible motives for the shooting, Martinez said.
