FULLERTON
Metrolink and Amtrak have named the winners of a poster contest for local schoolchildren. The posters, which emphasized railroad safety, were displayed at the Fullerton Railroad Days 2000 last weekend. Each school’s top three winners received accounts at Downey Savings in Fullerton.
The four top winners citywide were awarded Amtrak railway tickets and passes to Southland amusement parks. They are:
* Grand prize Erika Lee, fourth grade, Fern Drive Elementary School;
* First prize--Charlotte Hull, sixth grade, Golden Hill Elementary School;
* Second prize--Katherine Yu, fourth grade, Golden Hill Elementary School;
* Third prize Justin Bazant, sixth grade, Rolling Hills Elementary School.
