LA HABRA
City officials have launched a beautification project to enhance Whittier Boulevard.
The two-month $160,000 project will include median improvements: landscaping, irrigation and decorative, stamped concrete.
There also will be a large sign announcing entry to the city from Whittier, at Valley Home Avenue and Whittier Boulevard.
City officials expect the improvements to be completed next month.
