DANA POINT
Caltrans has announced plans to repave a 4-mile stretch of Pacific Coast Highway from Interstate 5 to Crown Valley Parkway. Work would begin in October and run through June 2001. The $3-million project will include drainage improvements and traffic signal upgrades. All lanes will be open during daily peak travel times. Work that restricts lanes will be suspended between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. At other times, traffic may be reduced to one lane in each direction.
