Open Meeting on Youth Services
A Ventura County group hoping to create a countywide directory of youth services will hold a “town hall” meeting to gather information from the public.
The meeting, sponsored by the Workforce Investment Network for Youth, begins at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Santa Clara Valley Job and Career Center, 725 E. Main St., Santa Paula.
Frank Ramirez, the group’s youth services manager, said he encourages attendance, particularly by those who interact with youths on a regular basis.
Another meeting to discuss youth issues of local importance will take place at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 in the council chambers at Oxnard City Hall, 305 W. 3rd St.
