Coyote Habitat
* Re “Officials on Prowl for Cat-Killing Coyote,” Oct. 23.
The true significance of is article is not lost on me. I unashamedly wept when reading that at least eight cats have been killed in the past month. What are we humans thinking--or do we know how to think anymore?
Since man has destroyed the coyote’s natural habitat over the years by building tract homes, the coyote must seek its food as best it can. So basic intelligence should teach us to spay and neuter our pets and keep them indoors unless someone is there to watch them. Simple!
I am so dedicated to my cats and my one dog that I feel guilty about even going to a movie, knowing how much they miss me.
