Ice Dogs Defeat Fresno, 5-2

John Lilley scored two goals and Martin Woods, Tomas Kapusta and Kelly Askew also scored goals for the Ice Dogs Saturday night in a 5-2 victory over the Fresno Falcons at Long Beach Arena.

Woods scored on a power play at 10:39 of the second period to put the Ice Dogs ahead to stay. Askew, who assisted on Woods’ goal, had his fifth multiple-point game of the season.
