LAGUNA HILLS

The Laguna Hills Traffic Commission will meet tonight to discuss a potentially dangerous crosswalk near San Joaquin Elementary School. Recently, a crossing guard expressed concern to police services that vehicles parked near the intersection made it difficult to see oncoming traffic.
The commission will vote on whether to install three no-parking signs adjacent to the crosswalk on Barbera at Santa Vittoria Drive to increase pedestrian visibility. The signs would cost about $300.
If the recommendation is passed, the commission will forward it to the City Council for approval. Information: (949) 707-2600.
