Garrett Will Host Holiday ‘Lights’ Event
“Everybody Loves Raymond” star Brad Garrett will host the third annual “Bright Lights of L.A.” holiday event, taking place Tuesday at Avenue of the Stars’ outdoor Central Plaza between the ABC Entertainment Center and the Century Plaza Towers.
The free 5:30-7 p.m. event, which will include musical performances and family entertainment including visits by Santa Claus and various Winnie-the-Pooh characters, aims to be the West Coast version of Rockefeller Center’s tree lighting and culminates with the lighting of a 65-foot-tall Christmas tree adorned by 6,000 lights and 3,000 ornaments. A grand menorah lighting will also be featured.
Free parking will be offered at Century Plaza Towers, the ABC Entertainment Center and the Century City Shopping Center.
