Holiday-Related Closures
Thursday was Thanksgiving. The following schedule will be in effect today:
* State and county offices will be closed today.
* City offices will be closed today.
* County libraries will be closed today, as will city libraries in Anaheim, Buena Park, Fullerton, Mission Viejo, Orange, Placentia and Yorba Linda. The city library in Newport Beach will be open.
* Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on their regular schedule.
* Metrolink trains will run on their regular schedule.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed today. The federal district court clerk’s office will be open today for emergency filings only.
* Public schools, including community colleges, will be closed today. Chapman University, Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine will be open.
* Trash collection will run one day late for those whose normal day fell on Thanksgiving or is normally scheduled today .
* Post offices will be open.
* Banks and savings and loans will be open.
