RESEDA — Gang members fired shots at a parked car Friday night, police said, critically injuring a 2-month-old girl inside.
No one else was injured in the attack, and police said they did not have a motive.
The shooting occurred about 7:20 p.m. in the 7100 block of Lindley Avenue, said Los Angeles Police Officer Don Cox.
The car with the child in it was parked at the curb when a white and tan Chevy Blazer pulled up and someone inside fired into the car, Cox said.
Cox said three or four young men were in the Blazer, and at least two adults were in the parked car.
Police said the child was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
