Man Shot to Death After Car Chase Through South-Central
A man was shot to death in the middle of East 90th Street after a car chase Wednesday morning through South-Central Los Angeles.
Tyrone Tony Durio, 31, died in the 200 block of East 90th Street, Los Angeles police said. Witnesses said two vehicles sped around the corner and ran a stop sign during the fatal chase.
As Durio turned west on 90th Street in his late model Oldsmobile Cutlass, people chasing him in a white Cadillac Escalade caught up and shot him, police said.
Paramedics arrived and pronounced Durio dead at the scene.
Police say they have no information on the attacker and ask anyone with details to call detectives at the Southeast Division homicide unit at (213) 789-4193 or (213) 485-6902.
