El Toro (2-2) vs. Marina (4-0)
7 TONIGHT WESTMINSTER HIGH
El Toro has rebounded with two victories after being thrashed by Western, 63-25. But let’s see how the Chargers handle Marina’s option-fly offense and the athletic Beau Brown. “The hardest part is not knowing what to prepare for, the option or the fly,” El Toro Coach Mike Milner said. “And that quarterback is one heck of a football player.” Milner’s quarterback, Travis Kirchmeyer, isn’t bad either. He came into the season with no varsity experience, but Milner said he is quickly making a name for himself. “He’s making plays, throwing very accurately and running the system.”
