Santa Clara School Gets Scary Sunday
Santa Clara Elementary School will host its 24th annual “Scare Faire” Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The carnival will feature live music, folk dancing, ethnic food, games, rides and a haunted house. There also will be a pumpkin patch, a fresh produce market and a scarecrow contest for children and parents.
Organized by the Parents Club, the event is the school’s biggest fund-raiser.
Carnival profits will help the school maintain affordable tuition, campus officials said.
Santa Clara is a private school in Oxnard that serves about 350 students.
The carnival will take place at the school, 324 South E St., in Oxnard. For more information, call 483-6935.
