The society’s first Heritage Award will be given to Patricia Russell Miller and Russell Huse, the grandchildren of Andrew and Abigale Russell--one of the area’s founding families. The ceremony begins at 6 p.m.
Also Monday, Newbury Park resident Fred Nuesca will present a program on vintage cash registers to kick off the opening of the museum’s new exhibit of antique machines and vintage clothing.
The Stagecoach Inn Museum, 51 S. Ventu Park Road, is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and $1 for children older than 5.
