Police Search for Stereo Store Robbers
Two men who held up a stereo store after telling employees they wanted a stereo installed in their car remained at large Thursday.
Oxnard Police Cmdr. Tom Chronister said two men in their early 20s robbed the Creative Sounds Stereo Store at 405 N. Oxnard Blvd. about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
As they inquired about a stereo, one of the men pulled out a semiautomatic handgun and pointed it at an employee. They took several pieces of stereo equipment from storage shelves, fleeing in a brown van, Chronister said.
