PLACENTIA
The City Council approved a cable franchise transfer Tuesday from Comcast Cablevision to Adelphia Communications Corp.
The unanimous vote came after the director for community services announced that city staff and representatives of Adelphia had agreed on a production studio to be placed inside a local but undisclosed high school, and to provide additional channels for residents.
