The deadline to submit entries to the city’s photo contest, Hot Shots Around Town, is 5 p.m. Oct. 13. All submissions, black and white as well as color, are welcome but must be at least 8 inches by 10 inches and no larger than 11 inches by 14 inches. Entries can be brought to the City Hall receptionist or mailed to 10200 Slater Ave., Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Information: (714) 593-4445.
