Planning commissioners voted unanimously last week to approve construction of a one-story, 8,000-square-foot restaurant at 11757 Harbor Blvd.

Bucca di Beppo is a chain of Italian family-style eateries run by Chapman Restaurants LLC.

The site will share a total of 738 parking spaces with three nearby hotels, including the Embassy Suites and Hilton Garden Inn.

The city will receive a development impact fee of $8,500.

The final design of the restaurant’s signage is required to follow the Harbor Boulevard Urban Design Plan.
