SAN CLEMENTE
Officials from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and a marriage and family therapist will educate parents about their teens tonight as part of the department’s Parent Project program.
“It’s for parents facing difficult issues with pre-adolescents and teens,” said Janet Dunford, a crime prevention specialist with the department.
The 10-week class, which has nine sessions left, costs $35. About 22 parents attended the first class last Thursday. The classes will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Triton Center at San Clemente High School, 700 Avenida Pico. Information: (949) 361-8386.
