IRVINE
The Irvine Police Department will be getting a new police dog, thanks to a recent anonymous $25,000 donation to help pay for the new canine and bring the department’s ranks of police dogs to three.
The City Council this week formally accepted the donation, and police officials are expected to acquire a new dog soon.
