Four men were wounded in a weekend shooting at the Park Parthenia apartment complex in Northridge, police said Monday.
The shooting, which police said was gang-related, occurred near an alley in the 19100 block of Bryant Street about 11 p.m. Sunday. All four men, who were in their early 20s, were hospitalized--two in critical condition and one in serious condition, said Officer LaDonna Cissell, a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.
Two were taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center and two to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.
Police said one of the victims lives in the complex.
“They are all gonna make it,” Sgt. Adolfo Godinez of the Devonshire Division said Monday.
The shooting suspects, who police have yet to identify, fled on foot.
LAPD Sgt. Dan Mastro of the Devonshire Division said the Park Parthenia apartments and the surrounding neighborhood have a history of gang activity.
“It’s been that way since the beginning of time,” Mastro said.
