As part of its third annual Choral Festival, Los Robles Master Chorale will present two concerts at the Moorpark College Performing Arts Center. On Friday, the Los Angeles-based ensemble Zephyr: Voices Unbound will perform along with the Los Robles Chamber Singers and middle and high school choirs. On Saturday, performances will include the Cal Lutheran University Choir, Village Voices, Los Robles Chamber Singers and the all-female ensemble One Voice.

Instruments

Ensemble Galilei, six classically trained female musicians, will present a varied musical program Saturday at Church of Religious Science in Ventura. The program will include baroque interpretations of 18th century Irish airs, plus reels, jigs, Galician waltzes and Breton dance tunes. The musicians perform on fiddle, Celtic harp, bowed psaltery (an ancient stringed instrument), recorders, oboe, percussion and other instruments.

Festival

The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District will hold its Children’s Day in the Park and Crafts Fair on Saturday. Activities will include camel rides, children’s performers and a rock-climbing wall. Summer camp and youth program information will be available.

Green Day

Thousand Oaks will hold its Arbor/Earth Day Celebration on Saturday at Civic Arts Plaza Park. It will feature Dr. Wilderness magic shows, an eco-fashion show, ballet folklorico performances, games, information booths, a used book sale, arts and crafts, free trees and more.
