Police Search for 911 Caller in Slaying
Detectives are seeking the person who made a 911 call after witnessing the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man outside a Westchester market March 26.
Heriberto “Eddie” Salinas, the father of a toddler, was shot as he drove out of the parking lot of Robert’s Market at 6:20 p.m. that day, detectives said.
The shooter fled east on Manchester Boulevard in a 1996 or 1997 four-door dark blue Honda Accord, detectives said. It’s unclear why Salinas was targeted.
Police are searching for a man possibly in his 50s or 60s who made the 911 call. The witness was captured on a surveillance camera in the store, said Cindy Rosman, an aunt of Salinas’ wife, Nicole Salina Rosman.
