Rockin’ Bill of Fighters and Punks

Share

Dude! The Foo Fighters are opening for the Atomic Punks at Paladino’s in Tarzana on Friday night, and we’ve got the poop. Turns out, the Foosters are boosters of the Punks, a Van Halen cover band that’ll make you wanna dance the night away. Righteous.... Speaking of good parties, Balboa at the Grafton threw a shebang on Tuesday. Among those who already scoped out the new Sunset Strip bar and restaurant are Tori Spelling, Patrick Muldoon and Nelly Furtado.

Say what? Otep ax men Tarver and Spooky were axed from the band last week, despite winning raves on the Ozzfest tour. The guitarists have already teamed up with promoter Dayle Gloria, who’s coming to their emotional rescue. Speaking of G-l-o-r-i-a, her birthday plans include a tribute from Metal Shop at the Viper Room on Monday.... Go-go dancer the Fabulous Ashleigh had her first movie premiere on Friday, in an indie flick called “Smack” (coming to local theaters near you).... O.G. rock mom Sharon Osbourne brought her brood to check out the band Leisure at the Troubadour on Monday....

Moomba was the site of mucho chaos last week, as ‘N Sync holed up in the WeHo club’s downstairs VIP area at its own after-party. One fan got a heavy dose of “bad bodyguard” after seeking a photo op with Justin Timberlake, who, rather than oblige, made like a mime and started snapping imaginary pix at the fan. When the fan muttered quiet words of disappointment, the bodyguard got waaaay in her face. Dude, you’re supposed to protect and serve, not invite drama.... Time to shove off. Club Make-Up is celebrating superheroes on Saturday, and I’m going as the suburban mom.
