Comedy

Some comedians build their act around cutting close to the bone, and New York comic Shang is no exception. Art

California artists will whip up the brushes and pigments at Mission San Juan Capistrano during the seventh annual Outdoor Professional Painting Competition. They will paint through the week at locations within 10 miles while the public can watch. The best impressionist works will be selected by a panel of judges, and artists may win a total of $10,000, sponsored by Joan Irvine Smith Fine Arts and the California Art Club.
