4 Stabbed in Melee Near a Mini-Mall
A melee involving at least 15 people near a mini-mall Friday night sent four people to the hospital with stab wounds, two of whom were in critical condition, Los Angeles police said.
The fight started before 8:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Haskell Avenue near Vanowen Street with some of the participants wielding baseball bats, said Sgt. Kim Kempton of the LAPD’s Van Nuys station.
