Ramirez Flames Out

On the very day (Aug. 21) that a letter points out Michael Ramirez’s “closed-minded ignorance” on the stem cell issue, Ramirez does it again. His editorial cartoon of a firefighter and an “eco-terrorist” fails to recognize what even the firefighting community now knows--that the horrendous fire seasons of the past few years have been caused by over a century of forest management; i.e., fire suppression.
