Roommate of Victim Held in Killing

An argument between Lancaster roommates escalated to gunfire, leaving one man dead and another in custody, authorities said Friday.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the apartment in the 45000 block of Logue Court shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday. They found 39-year-old Leonard Garcia shot in the upper body, a sheriff’s spokesman said. Garcia was later pronounced dead.
His roommate, 29-year-old Edwin Gonzalez, was arrested on suspicion of murder.
