District Attorney Gets 3 Years’ Probation for DUI
From Times Wire Reports
Fresno County Dist. Atty. Ed Hunt was sentenced to three years’ probation and community service after pleading no contest to drunk driving.
“I was raised that if you make a mistake, you admit it, you apologize for it, you take your lumps, and that’s what I’ve done,” Hunt told the Fresno Bee. “I didn’t fool around. I stood up and took my punishment.”
Hunt, arrested Dec. 5 after an auto accident on Blackstone Avenue, also said he is participating voluntarily in an alcohol rehabilitation program.
