Woman, 92, Dies Before Car Crash

A 92-year-old woman riding with her 85-year-old husband on the Ventura Freeway died from heart disease shortly before her husband crashed the car near Ventura, authorities said Wednesday.
Kenneth and Lulu Young of Newhall were driving north about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when he became disoriented and tried to make a U-turn on the freeway near Emma Wood State Beach.
Two other vehicles struck the Youngs’ car, but no one was seriously injured. When California Highway Patrol officers arrived, they found that Lulu Young had died, authorities said.
An autopsy found that she had died before the crash.
