Alzheimer’s Assn. Offers Caregivers Workshop
The Ventura Alzheimer’s Assn. will offer an educational workshop Jan. 8 in Camarillo for patients with the disease and their caregivers.
Titled “A Caregiver’s Workshop: Creating a Partnership With Your Doctor When the Diagnosis is Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Illness,” the program is part of a statewide initiative sponsored by the California Department of Health Services.
Topics will include questions to ask a doctor after diagnosis, strategies to receive the best care and learning about community resources.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ventura County chapter office, 1339 Del Norte Road.
