Sacramento State (4-6) at UC Riverside (3-6), 7, KPRO (1570)--Plagued by poor shooting all season, the Highlanders made 28 of 53 shots for a season-high 52.8% in their victory over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Saturday. Guard John Galbreath, a junior college transfer, is coming off a career-high 20-point performance. Center Vili Morton is becoming a force in the Big West. Sacramento State hasn’t played since defeating Lipscomb on Dec. 17. The Hornets have lost 28 in a row on the road dating to Dec. 3, 1999.

Cal State Northridge (2-7) at Brigham Young (7-2), 6, KCSN-FM (88.5)--The Matadors ended a six-game losing streak with a one-point Big West victory at Idaho. Horrific shooting has haunted them. Only two players, guard Lionel Benjamin and forward Chris Davis, are at 50% or above. Benjamin had 11 points in his first start against Idaho. BYU is coming off an 81-76 upset of then-No. 13 Stanford on Saturday. Forward Mark Bigelow averages 17.2 points, guard Travis Hansen averages 15.3 and forward Eric Nielsen is coming off a 29-point effort against Stanford.
