Tekelec Ends Year With $15.6 Million in Net Income

Tekelec of Calabasas reported net income for the fourth quarter tthat ended Dec. 31 of $9.2 million, up from $5.2 million for the same period last year. Revenue increased 28% to $98.1 million from $76.9 million.
For the year that ended Dec. 31, the company reported net income of $15.6 million, compared with $444,000. Revenue for the year was $316.1 million, compared with $226 million.
Tekelec develops telecommunications signaling infrastructure, soft switches, diagnostic solutions and service applications.
