3.3 Earthquake Rocks Palm Springs Area

PALM SPRINGS —
A small quake shook the area near Palm Springs on Saturday night, but there were no reports of damage or injury.
The quake, which struck at 10:09 p.m., had a preliminary magnitude rating of 3.3 and was centered about 18 miles west-southwest of Palm Springs, according to Caltech in Pasadena.
A Palm Springs police dispatcher said there were no reports of damage or injury.
