The Titans couldn’t handle 6-foot-8 Travis Reed, who scored 26 points, and Fullerton still has the same defensive problems inside. Long Beach lost for the first time in four games Thursday, 83-78 loss at Irvine. Fullerton ended a losing streak at seven with a 63-60 victory over Idaho, gaining the upper hand over the last-place Vandals in a bid for the final spot in the Big West tournament.
