The Las Vegas Outlaws held off the San Francisco Demons, 16-9, at Pacific Bell Park to improve to 3-1.
Brandin Young gave the Demons (2-2) a 6-0 lead early in the second quarter on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Mike Pawlawski.
Rod Smart tied the score for Las Vegas with a two-yard touchdown run, but San Francisco’s Mike Panasuk kicked a 36-yard field goal with five seconds left in the half.
The Outlaws’ Mike Furrey caught a 41-yard touchdown pass from Mark Greib midway through the third quarter. Paul McCallum added a 43-yard field goal for the Outlaws early in the fourth quarter.
