Parachute Express’ Donny Becker, Janice Hubbard and Stephen Michael Schwartz are superstars of recordings for kids. They celebrate 15 years of smooth-movin’ harmonies and sing-along, play-along songs with two family concerts Friday in Thousand Oaks, presented by the Conejo Valley Children’s Concert Series.

Guitar

Performances to Grow On will present a solo performance by classical guitarist William Kanengiser on Saturday evening at the Oak Grove Pavilion in Ojai. Kanengiser, a member of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, will play arrangements of Mozart, Handel and Bartok, with excursions into the music of Eastern Europe and the Caribbean.

Improv

The Santa Susana Improv Comedy Troupe, with actors ranging in age from 14 to 19, will stage its improvisational show “Got Comedy?” in Thousand Oaks on Saturday evening. The performance will feature improv comedy and song parodies based on audience suggestions.

Theater League will celebrate 1960s rock ‘n’ roll when it presents “Leader of the Pack” beginning Sunday in Thousand Oaks. The production is a revue of songs by lyricist Ellie Greenwich and includes “Da Doo Ron Ron,” “River Deep, Mountain High” and “Chapel of Love.”
