Volunteers Sought for Committees

The city is accepting applications from residents who would like to serve on city commissions and committees.
Residents are needed to review guidelines for the handicapped on the Advisory Committee for the Disabled, develop and recommend improvements in recreation services on the Community Services Commission and review traffic matters on the Traffic Committee.
Volunteers are also needed to review housing developments on the Housing and Community Development Advisory Board and resolve planning and zoning issues on the Planning Commission.
Applications are available at the city clerk’s office, 10200 Slater Ave., and are due by 5 p.m. Jan. 19. Information: (714) 593-4445.
