UCLA, Dalis Agree to Contract Extension
UCLA announced Thursday that Athletic Director Peter T. Dalis has agreed to a contract extension that will run through the next 18 months.
Dalis, 63, whose previous contract expired Sunday, is in his 18th year as athletic director.
During his tenure, UCLA has won 36 of its 83 NCAA team championships.
The school also has played in 12 bowl games and in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament 13 times, including each of the last 12 years.
