No. 20 Oregon Unbeaten in Pac-10

Jaime Craighead scored 15 points as No. 20 Oregon extended its winning streak to six games with a 72-54 Pacific 10 Conference victory over No. 24 Stanford Saturday night at Eugene, Ore.

Oregon improved to 10-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

Stanford (7-7, 1-3 in the Pac-10) has lost three consecutive games for the first time since the 1986-87 season. That was also the last season that Stanford was swept by Oregon and Oregon State on the same road trip.

Stanford has lost all six of its road games, including a loss to Oregon State.

No. 1 Connecticut 104, Providence 49--Connecticut’s Diana Taurasi scored 16 points and keyed an early 28-0 run in the Big East Conference victory at Storrs, Conn.

Connecticut (13-0, 4-0) had 22 steals, seven by Svetlana Abrosimova.

Providence (6-7, 0-4) was held scoreless for nearly eight minutes in the first half and shot 27%.

No. 3 Notre Dame 75, Virginia Tech 55--The Fighting Irish (16-0, 5-0) extended their home winning streak to 31 games as Alicia Ratay and Ericka Haney each scored 17 points in the Big East victory.

Virginia Tech is 10-5 and 1-3 in the Big East.

No. 7 Iowa State 89, Nebraska 46--Angie Welle scored 22 points for Iowa State, which put the Big 12 game away with a 30-3 first-half run at Ames, Iowa.

Iowa State (13-1, 4-0) made its first seven three-point shots, three by Erica Haugen.

Nebraska is 9-7 and 1-2.

No. 8 Louisiana Tech 82, Arkansas State 62--Cheryl Ford scored 18 points to lead Louisiana Tech to the Sun Belt Conference victory at Ruston, La.

Kenya Bibbs added 14 for Louisiana Tech (14-4, 5-0).

No. 11 Texas Tech 85, Texas A&M; 78--Amber Tarr scored 21 points in the Big 12 victory at College Station, Texas.

Texas Tech (13-2, 4-0) opened the second half with a 20-6 run to take a 56-44 lead.

Jaynetta Saunders had 34 points for Texas A&M; (11-4, 1-3).

No. 12 Rutgers 75, Boston College 66--Linda Miles scored seven of her 19 points in overtime to lead Rutgers in the Big East game at Piscataway, N.J.

No. 14 Texas 64, Oklahoma State 43--Texas (14-4, 2-2) held Oklahoma State to two points in the first 11 minutes of the second half of the Big 12 Conference game at Austin, Texas.

Jessica Spinner scored eight points for Oklahoma State (8-7, 0-4).

No. 15 Southwest Missouri State 90, Evansville 67--Jackie Stiles scored 41 points to lead the Lady Bears to the Missouri Valley Conference victory at Evansville, Ind.

Tara Mitchem added 14 points for Southwest Missouri State (11-3, 5-1). Evansville is 7-6 and 3-2.

No. 17 Oklahoma 90, No. 23 Baylor 87--Stacey Dales scored 28 points to lead Oklahoma to the Big 12 victory at Waco, Texas.

Jen Cunningham had a key three-point play in the final minute for Oklahoma (11-4, 3-1).

Sheila Lambert scored 30 points for Baylor (13-2, 2-2).

No. 22 Arizona 88, Washington 72--Lakeisha Taylor scored 23 points and Reshea Bristol had a school-record 16 assists to lead the Wildcats to the Pac-10 victory at Tucson.

Washington (10-4, 3-1) rallied behind six three-point shots in the second half to cut the margin to 70-68 with 4:48 left.

But Arizona (14-2, 4-0) went on a 13-4 run during the next three minutes to end the Huskies’ threat.

OTHER GAMES

California 79, Oregon State 72--Kenya Corley and Courtney Johnson each scored 14 points to lead the Bears to the Pac-10 victory at Corvallis, Ore.

Five players scored more than 10 points for Cal (5-9).

Felicia Ragland scored 26 points for Oregon State (9-4).
