Police were seeking two suspects, one from Riverside County, in connection with a home invasion robbery early Tuesday morning in which a man was shot in the head.

Two adult male robbers entered a home in the 21000 block of Leisure Lane about 2:20 a.m., Lt. Chuck Thomas said.

A 47-year-old male resident was hit by more than one bullet in the head, but received only minor injuries, Thomas said. The man was treated at a local hospital. A 46-year-old woman was treated for a superficial head wound, possibly from a blow by one of the robbers, authorities said.

The victims’ names were not released Tuesday. It was unclear how the robbers got inside the home, but one of them might have known the residents, Thomas said.

Police identified one of the suspects in the robbery as Vincent Guy Felix, 42, whose last known address is in Riverside County. He was described as 6 feet 2, 195 pounds with a shaved head, brown eyes and having distinctive tattoos: Chinese writing on both sides of his head and a pair of green dice with red flames on the back of his head.

Investigators said Felix is believed to have fired multiple shots from a small caliber handgun inside the house.

The second robber was described only as a white male adult.

Authorities said Felix is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about the suspects’ whereabouts or about the crime is asked to call the Huntington Beach Police Department at (714) 375-5066 or their local law enforcement agency.
