Firefighters Find Body Inside Burning Car

A charred body was found inside a burning car Sunday morning in San Fernando by firefighters called to extinguish the blaze, authorities said.
Firefighters found the body in the front seat of the mid-size car parked on the 500 block of Jessie Street, said Deputy Roberta Granek of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles County coroner’s office were trying to identify the body and determine how the fire started, Granek said.
