Initiative Media

Suzanne Gilbert has been named vice chairman and chief financial officer of Initiative Media Worldwide, a Los Angeles media-buying company. Gilbert, who was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Lowe Group, will oversee Initiative Media’s financial operations.

She replaces Joseph Studley, who is moving to a new position with Interpublic Group, Initiative Media’s parent company.

Dimensional Fund

Santa Monica-based Dimensional Fund Advisors has named John Siciliano vice president, international, responsible for managing and expanding DFA’s operations in Australia, South America and Western Europe.

Siciliano was president and chief operation officer of Payden & Rygel Investment Group.

Universal Studios

Ed Neppl has been appointed vice president, controller, for Universal Studios Recreation Group in Universal City.

Neppl is a former vice president of finance for Pallotta Team Works, an event production company, and a former finance manager at Walt Disney Imagineering.
