Bank Robber Linked to a 2nd Heist Is Sought
An undisclosed amount of money was stolen from a Bank of America branch Tuesday by a man who authorities believe may have been responsible for another heist at an Oxnard bank in February.
A man walked into the bank on Westlake Boulevard about 2:45 p.m. and handed a teller a threatening note before fleeing, said FBI Special Agent Brent Robbins.
The robber was described as black, 160 pounds, about 5 feet 10 and having a small goatee. On Feb. 15, a man matching that description robbed a Bank of America on Oxnard Boulevard.
