Gunman Barges Into Pharmacy, Steals Drugs

A man carrying a semiautomatic handgun stormed into a pharmacy Wednesday afternoon, held a pharmacist at gunpoint and then fled with an undetermined amount of medicine, police said.
No one was injured during the 2 p.m. incident at the store in the 21100 block of Beach Boulevard, Huntington Beach Police Lt. Bill Peterson said. Investigators described the gunman as in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin with brown eyes, short hair and a goatee.
