Human Remains Found on Sylmar Street
Two severed feet and other human body parts were discovered Wednesday on a residential street, police said.
Investigators do not know where the body parts came from, said Sgt. Terry McBride of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division.
McBride said a passerby walking in the 15000 block of Roxford Street found the remains next to a plastic trash bag in the street by a curb. They appear to be from one person, he said.
The body has not been identified, McBride said. Anyone with information can call police at (818) 834-3115 or (818) 756-8861.
Michelle Rabago, 23, who has lived on the street for six years, said residents usually keep to themselves. “I’m not that freaked out,” she said. “But it is a shock.”
