Man Fatally Stabbed After Argument in Bar, Police Say
A 23-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Friday after an argument that began at a bar and moved to a residence, police said.
Victor Cruz of Pacoima died in a local hospital shortly after the 1:30 a.m. attack in the 9800 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, according to Lt. George Rock of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division.
Witnesses told police that Cruz and a friend argued with two people at a bar on San Fernando Road. The pair followed Cruz and his friend to the home of a relative of Cruz’s, Rock said. A fight ensued that ended with the stabbing of Cruz, police said.
