Teenager Kills Brother After Fight, Police Say
A 20-year-old Baldwin Park man was stabbed to death by his 17-year-old brother after they fought over clothes, authorities said Friday.
After stabbing Norman Nguyen in the chest Thursday night, the younger brother told his siblings to call 911, Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Steinwand said.
Nguyen was taken to Kaiser Permanente hospital, where he died.
The stabbing occurred about 10:30 p.m. in the 14500 block of Olive Street.
Viet Nguyen, 21, the oldest brother of five, said Norman and the 17-year-old “have been having problems, but I never thought it would get this far. They were always arguing. They never physically fought.”
Neither he nor police knew details of the argument.
